What is a blue collar worker? The term blue-collar worker refers to individuals who engage in hard manual labor, typically in the construction, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, or maintenance sectors. They are in the trades or skilled trades and without them, America would not function or thrive. They build our foundation and keep us running.
From roofers to concrete finishers and facilities workers, we need more blue collar workers, more to enter the trades. We need to support blue collar jobs and continue to grow skilled trades programs across the country.
